Lessons

What do I need for lessons?

For pitching lessons, all you will need is a pair of tennis shoes, or cleats if we are outside,  that you can pitch in, a glove, and your water bottle. You will also need to bring an individual who can catch you for the lesson.  I will provide a ball and a target to throw into.  You will not be throwing to a catcher the entire lesson.

If it is your first lesson plan to arrive a few minutes before the lesson, and I will walk you through a warm-up to prepare your body to pitch. After your first lesson, you are encouraged to arrive with enough time to do a warm-up prior to the lesson.

Hitting lessons:  Please wear tennis shoes that you are able to hit in, water, and your bat, if you have one. A helmet is also advised if you want live pitching. I will not throw any live pitching without a helmet.

Where are lessons?

Lessons are offered at various locations in Fayetteville. Indoor lessons in Fayetteville are located near downtown Fayetteville. Outdoor lessons are at College Lakes fields. Erin will confirm what location lessons are held at.

Lessons and softball are supposed to be fun! Be prepared to learn new things and have fun.

What am I paying for?

About lesson prices: Erin believes that you pitching is a skill that requires both time and energy and is not for everyone. To see changes and results you must be invested in doing the work outside of lessons. You will see changes after one lesson but you must continue to put in the work to see improvements. Erin does not believe in using lessons as practice or to get reps in, they are too expensive for that. You should be getting your reps outside of lessons and in lessons we learn new things and make corrections. Lessons are an investment and I expect all students to work hard in between lessons so that we can make progress at each lesson.

What are intensive lessons?

Intensive lessons are for clients who want to maximize their time in pitching lessons. These lessons are great for clients who may be driving a greater distance for lessons and want to create a plan to work on between lessons. This is an all encompassing lesson where we touch on all aspects of pitching. Please call or text if you have questions about intensives!

All lesson cancellations require a 24-hour notice to cancel. If you are unable to cancel with 24 hours' notice, you will be charged the entire cost of the lesson. This fee must be paid before you can schedule another lesson.

Please send a text, call, or email to learn about our rates for lessons and clinics.

outcome

It is up to you to determine the outcome of your lessons or training. I will do my best to provide you with all the tools to succeed. YOU determine the effort and commitment. To be an elite level pitcher you must be committed to putting in time outside of lessons to achieve your goals.
